For Kids Only
When Death Comes to Those They Love

This is a beautiful picture book that can be a beginning in helping children understand and express their feelings that accompany the death of a loved one.

It is not uncommon for adults not to know how they can help children travel the journey of grief. This book can be the catalyst to opening the door of communication that will help in healing the broken hearts of children who have lost someone they loved and were crucial in their lives.

There are many books out that present the stages of grief that people experience after the death of a loved one that may provide helpful insight to the grief process. These stages are not necessarily experienced in order nor does everyone experience all of the them. Simply stated the stages are:

1. Shock and numbness that can include denial

2. Anger

3. Depression

4. Acceptance

One does not get over the loss of loved one. We carry the loss throughout a lifetime.
